Melbourne Australian born Darren Cinque crafts songs with heart felt emotions regarding love gone wrong to even stronger messages of peace and a stop to wars, all in an electro-pop, at times falsetto styles and a hint of rock n’ roll.
Raised in the coastal suburb of Elwood, Melbourne, Darren Cinque studied music at Monash University School of Music dabbling in the local music scene to then later relocate to Milan, Italy. Living in a small run down 15th century loft, inspired by his environment, he spent endless hours writing songs and with the collaboration of producer Giovanni Prolo, Darren self produced an Ep entitled Black moments, 2010. Darren also teamed up with videographer Luca Orsi to produce a video for each of the songs of his Ep. Darren has managed to build up a strong on-line following, by hitting online radios, blogs and the like to play his videos; his first video entitled Another Day on YouTube/VEVO managed to reach a staggering 800,000 views. His music has been played on radio KCRW Electic 24 Dj Thomas Jason Laurie and many others with radio and television interviews and articles.
Darren Cinque also joined alternative band Lo.mo and released two albums, Camere da riordinare produced by Hugo Race (ex-guitarist of Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds) in 2011 and the second album Il tre nel segno in 2015.
After performing at numerous festivals and pub shows in Italy, Darren Cinque relocated to Bristol in the UK where he has taken to the local live scene and a growing following.
Darren Cinque quests the chance to get more of his music out to the world with his latest track Don’t Blame Me released on DJD Music Ltd., available on all on-line stores and streaming on Spotify and Apple Music.
